Chapter 1467: Part 2: A light bulb went off

Charlotte ended the call after giving instructions. Manager Lara then went to the office.

Shortly afterwards,

The announcement came from the silver tower. It says that Wizard Seeds of the Silver Tower would undergo special training.

So they won’t be able to contact the outside world. The announcement was short. But it has conveyed the message.

In the blink of an eye, the news spreads across the Magic City. The other Magic Towers got the news as well.

They were in shock. They didn’t expect the Silver Tower to make such a decision. But most of them understood it was because of the Wind Elemental Tower.

The Silver Tower wanted all their Wizard Seeds to become an official member soon. So they can recruit the next generation of the Wizard Seeds.

Not many of them were happy hearing the news. They understood that the Silver Tower was using this opportunity to strengthen itself.

But those magic towers that wanted their wizard seeds to fight against the Silver Tower’s Wizard Seeds were disappointed.

Their Representatives waiting outside the Silver Tower had to return with disappointment.

The announcement has reached the wizard families and other business organisations in the Magic City. Everyone was shocked.

But those who followed current news weren’t that surprised. They knew that the Silver Tower might do something.

The wizard families connected to the Silver Tower were happier. They have wanted the Silver Tower to do something.

So this news came as a surprise to them. What more? Their Wizard Seeds will be safe. They don’t have to be worried about anyone challenging them.

Meanwhile,

Wilfred Cox, who heard the news about his family, was taken aback by surprise as well. He couldn’t help but wonder whether the news was connected to Vincent Carey.

Because he knows what’s going on around with Vincent Carey. The Other Magic Towers had instructed their Wizard Seeds to challenge Vincent Carey.

Now this announcement came out of nowhere. He thinks it was done mainly to protect Vincent Carey.

Anyway, he thinks the plan was great. He didn’t know who recommended it. Earlier, he was worried about the ongoing situations as well.

But Silver Tower has come out with a better plan. Now it’s up to the other Magic Towers. He is interested to see what they are going to do next.

Then he spoke with Susan Park and Jason Nicholson. Those two were in disbelief as well. Then they were happy that it worked out well for Vincent Carey in the end.

Vincent can focus on his practice hereafter.

From MC’s Perspective:

In the room, I got a call from Manager Lara. I attended the call and heard from her about the new announcement.

I was stunned. I had thought she would protect me. But she had done it for everyone in the end. Now others will be protected as well.

But why do I have this feeling that things aren’t that simple?

"Will they be silent?" I thought.

I think that those magic towers would resort to some other tactics. Then I thanked her and spoke to her about the appraisal work.

The Silver Tower won’t be accepting unidentified items because of the white package. So in the meantime, I can work for other shops.

Manager Lara understood my trouble. She then again told me that she wanted the permission of Lord Charlotte.

Hearing that I said, "Okay"

But I’m not entirely confident. Then we spoke for a few minutes before ending the call.

Then I collected my thoughts and resumed browsing the news online.

Meanwhile,

Charlotte received the reactions to the announcement. She was happy that hostile forces were not happy.

Hereafter, no one will target Silver Tower. She can focus on continuing to investigate the white package incident. She hadn’t got any clues for that.

It didn’t take long for her to get a call back from Manager Lara. She was surprised but she attended the call. Then she was able to know about Vincent Carey’s reaction.

Charlotte frowned. She knew that a Forbidden Wizard was targeting Vincent Carey in the magic city. But he hadn’t taken any actions against Vincent Carey.

She believes that the Forbidden Wizard was afraid of taking action inside the magic city. She suspects it was the Forbidden Wizard Remi of the Black Tower.

But she didn’t have a clue. That’s why she wanted Vincent to stay inside the Silver Tower. She can truly understand his mood.

She hadn’t expected that other magic towers had asked their wizard seeds to target Vincent Carey earlier. Now she has blocked this move.

She thinks Vincent Carey can focus on practice from now on. But instead, he wanted to do appraising as well. She then decides not to pressure him anymore.

So she agreed to let Vincent Carey take appraisal jobs outside.

But she didn’t know that things were just getting started.

Lara then ended the call and informed Vincent Carey of the outcome as well. Lara knows that her friend Hana wanted Vincent Carey’s expertise as well.

It’s just because of the ongoing situation around Vincent Carey; she didn’t contact him. But she thinks they have the opportunity right now.

Meanwhile,

Inside the room, my heart was at ease. I didn’t expect the Forbidden wizard Charlotte to agree. But then he understood something.

Lord Charlotte knows that he wants to go outside to experience. She knows how bad it is to spend all day and night inside the room.

Then I collected my thoughts before doing other work.

Old man Martin was dumbfounded by the announcement. He immediately knew Silver Tower had used his idea.

But he understood that they had decided to protect other wizard seeds as well.

Things that happened with Vincent Carey can happen with other Wizard Seeds.

It’s just that Vincent Carey was able to remain unharmed. But it can’t be said the same thing for others.

Many wizard seeds of magic towers have lost their lives mysteriously over the years.

But those who follow the news knew that it must be because of the Faction infighting.

He was happy that Vincent Carey was going to be safe for now.
