He stared at the friend request for a few moments before turning to Zafira, who was staring into the air with a frown.

But upon noticing his gaze, she slowly nodded.

“Let’s accept it. It probably won’t hurt us in the long term,” she said plainly. “Besides, we’ll need to get into contact with her after we’re done with the war, right?”

“Mhm.” Rael nodded and swiftly accepted the friend request.

“Anyways… get in, everyone. We’ll be leaving Dax behind. I’m sure he can walk back if he wants,” Rael said with a cheeky smile and stepped inside the SUV.

The others did too, and idle chatter immediately resounded, whereas Rael focused on the road.
