Chapter 201: Quick Chat, And Heading To Aztera
The following day.
âI think those clothes are too tight for you.â
âDid you just call me fat?â
âHm? Noââ

<Youâve been killed!>
âAAAH!â Rael shot awake, bonking his head against a tree branch.
He looked at his hands, then let out an exhausted sigh.
Stupid fucking dream. Rael scoffed, jumped off the tree branch, and landed on soft, grassy soil.
He was not too far away from Elarin at the moment, since he had a few people he needed to meet.
The Evangelists⌠Iâm starting to think this might not be a very great idea, Rael thought. But just giving them a tip should be enough.
If he told them where the legendary barbarian axe was, and they actually retrieved it, then heâd win the war without ever lifting a finger.
AndâŚ
If things go south, I can always just steal it away from them. Rael tapped the air, opening the premium shop.
â˘âPremium Shopââ˘
Category: Dralgur Continent/Aztera/Barbarian Axe
â˘âBalance: 539,022,788 Trellââ˘
⢠Old Lumber Axe (Legendary): 25,000,000 Trell
Itâs pretty cheap, and Iâll definitely buy it after the Evangelists cause a ruckus, Rael thought.
But definitely not now. After all, if he suddenly stole all the electricity in Aztera, heâd be the number one target.
Their army numbered several hundred thousand, and every single one of them was experienced. Rael could deal with most of them. However, there was a limit to how many people his Neuroweb could thread.
3,000 is the limit. Then itâs a couple minutes of cooldown. Any more than that, and it feels like my headâs going to explode. Plus, the cooldown jumps to over an hour, Rael thought, and bought a random ugly facemask from the premium shop.
Even the Violin Blade⌠Iâd be able to kill a lot of them, but the durability would go down, and then Iâd have to repair it over and over again, Rael thought with a sigh. Each time, the cost increases too.
As for his other skills?
They were too expensive to cast. I could invest in a new overpowered Area Of Effect skill, but that wonât be necessary.
Nonetheless, Rael put on his face mask, then a hood, and with that, he entered Elarin.
He headed toward an inn, which was in a dark alley near the city entrance, and without knocking, he entered through the doors.
Immediately, the foul stench of blood greeted his nose, causing his brows to scrunch up in disgust.
There were corpses scattered all across the floor. Yet behind the counter was a lone bartender with long white hair and crimson eyes.
He looked nearly identical to Rael, with the only differences being his build and, of courseâŚ
âSo youâre the Evangelist I was supposed to meet?â Rael asked and sat down in front of the bartender. âYou donât look very smart. The only thing you did was spoil my appetite.â
The bartender stared at Rael for a few moments before letting out a laugh.
âPfftt⌠you got me.â The bartender raised his hands in the air. âMy nameâs William. Itâs a pleasure to meet youâŚ?â
âZen Davian Frederick Johan the Third,â Rael replied. âJust call me Zen.â
William raised a brow. âThere shouldnât be any secrets between friends, donât you think?â
Rael sighed. âJust shut up and listen to what I have to say.â
The moment Rael finished his words, William let go of the glass he was cleaning, causing it to shatter on the ground.
William pulled up a seat and sat across from Rael.
âSpeak,â William said in a cold tone, his previous playful demeanor long gone. âA bird mentioned youâve got the location of a relic?â
âMhm.â Rael nodded. âItâs in Aztera. I want you to steal it.â
William tilted his head. âThat was pretty easy. I thought youâd want to negotiate?â
âNegotiate what? Whatever you can offer is something I can get with a snap of my fingers,â Rael replied with a scoff and continued. âThe barbarian axe is hidden in the main pyramid of Aztera, right beside the capital, Veltharin.â
âAnd how exactly can I trust you, Zen?â William asked, picking up one of the wine-filled glasses from the table and taking a sip. âThe last thing Iâd want is the ruler of Aztera sniffing after us.â
Rael took a deep breath and stood up.
âDo whatever you want with the information I gave you. I donât exactly care,â Rael added, narrowing his eyes. âIâd just like to clarify that I think you are a piece of shit, just like Veylâaruun.â
What better way to build a good relationship than to insult their god?
Rael approached the door, fully ready to leave. HoweverâŚ
âYou knowâŚâ William muttered. âItâs a bit convenient how Celestara and Aztera are at war. And here you are, offering information that would tip the scales in Celestaraâs favor.â
William rose from his chair and walked over to Rael, a wide grin on his face.
âYou know⌠Ash. I have a feeling youâre closely related to Celestara. Maybe, just maybe, youâre even theâKUGH!â
Rael grasped William by the neck and lifted him off the ground.
âYeahâŚâ Rael rolled his eyes. âI hate the fact that you ask so many questions. But oh wellâŚâ
He tightened his grip, watching as William began to squirm in his grasp.
But Rael didnât stop. He just kept tightening his grip, and thenâŚ
âCrack
Williamâs neck snapped.
Rael let go, causing the filthy Evangelistâs corpse to fall to the ground.
Then, Rael took out his Violin Blade and infused it with the Fire element before sending it right at Williamâs corpse, cremating it in an instant.
Rael dusted himself off, stepped out of the inn, and followed the main road out of Elarin.
And the moment he did, he sent one text to Zareth.
A few moments later, Rael got a reply, and it was as plain as he expected.
<ZarethâNull: Understood.>
He let out a chuckle, threw his face mask into the inventory, and opened the premium shop.
