Chapter 293: Dealing With Them Swiftly
âYour mother,â Rael replied, and without waiting even a second, he picked up the man whose balls he had obliterated and threw him toward his goons.
It was like playing bowling, except that the pins kind of moved.
And they moved really fucking fast.
A man blinked in with a dagger aimed at Raelâs throat.
But before that dagger could reach Rael, the man slipped, skidding between Raelâs legs and arriving before the siblings.
He was about to blink, until Minos, with a determined look, brought the bronze sword down through the manâs throat, killing him in an instant.
And that was exactly when silence finally ensued.
âH-He killed him!â
âAlexander Nathaniel Montgomery Fitzwilliam Everett Sinclair Harrington Blythe! Nooo!â
ââŠ?â
Rael mightâve felt a bit of pity at the start, but for such a long nameâŠ
Good riddance.
Anyway, he took a step back, grabbing the bloodied sword from Minosâs hands.
Minos was clearly stunned by what he had just done, but having done it in the first place was a big step forward.
Still, Rael was definitely lucky.
If his passive skill hadnât activated, the man wouldâve definitely landed a blow on Rael.
After all, Rael wasnât that strong, and he didnât even have a combat class.
But since heâs dead, no use moping about it now,
Rael thought, turning to the man whose balls he had hit.
He slowly stood up, his legs trembling as he sent a glare in Raelâs direction.
âIâm going to kill youâŠâ the man muttered.
All of a sudden, the blood on the ground began to levitate, slowly transforming into a solid spike and traveling straight for Raelâs neck.
But just as it was about to hit, Jane managed to cast a frostbolt, freezing the blood in place as it dropped down and shattered.
âBlood manipulation?â Rael mused. âI would really love to have a plundering skill right about now. But oh wellâŠâ
With those words, Rael crouched down, then shot off the ground, appearing in front of one of the goons.
Their eyes widened as fire began to envelop one of their arms.
But because the casting time was so slow, Rael simply swung his sword in a cone, decapitating several people in one go.
-277! Critical Hit x6
<DING! You have slain: Human (x6) [Level 7 ~ 14]: Moderate Experience increase.>

Rael turned around toward the other goons.
Unlike the ones he had just killed, though, these seemed pretty tame.
All except the man who could control blood.
He raised his hand, trying to gather blood around his fists.
Soon, a pair of gauntlets formed around his hands, along with a weak-looking set of blood armor.
Rael didnât falter as he put all of his points into Constitution.
Constitution: 31 â 37
HP: 158/310 â 218/370
His body felt much lighter now, and because of that, Rael drew back his sword, then threw it straight at the burly man.
The instant it clanged off his blood armor, Rael was already in front of him.
âTskâŠâ The man clicked his tongue.
Instead of counterattacking, he proceeded to dispel the blood armor and create a small grenade, which he tossed right at Rael.
Raelâs senses flared, but he didnât wait to find out what the grenade could do.
So with a kick, he sent it flying into the crowd of goons.
And soon, an explosion resounded.
âBOOOOM
<DING! You have slain: Human (x11) [Level 6 ~ 11]: Moderate Experience increase.>
<Youâve reached Level 15!>

Rael picked up his sword from the ground and thrust it straight through the manâs heart.
-99! Fatal Hit!
But because of the manâs last-ditch effort, he managed to pierce Rael straight through the chest, hitting his half-frozen lung.
[HP -111! 137 / 400]
âPfft⊠hahaha!â the man let out a laugh as he dropped down to the ground, drowning in his own blood.
Raelâs brows twitched in pain as he took a ragged breath and slit the manâs throat.
-49! Fatal Hit!
<DING! You have slain: Human (x1) [Level 19]: Moderate Experience increase.>
<Youâve reached Level 16!>

Constitution: 40 â 43

Rael let out a groan as he shot a glance at the siblings, who immediately reacted, running up to him.
They pulled out some bandages, but he gestured against it as he shot one glare at the goons present.
âFollow us, and I will kill you.â
With those words, he went ahead, limping slightly.
FuckâŠ
Rael grumbled, dizzy.
I canât remember the last time I was in so much pain. I really just want to go back to Sketa Online, and especially to Zafira.
But alas, he wasnât done here yet.
He needed to finish the memory record, and for that, he needed to survive.
Rael limped into the tunnel ahead, then walked just far enough for the people to no longer be in sight.
And that was when he fell to the ground, his breaths ragged.
As his consciousness began to fade, he saw the siblings scrambling around, bandages and all sorts of medicine in hand.
Finally, everything went black.
.
.
.
âUghâŠâ Rael groaned, slowly sitting up.
He realized he no longer had a shirt on, and when he looked around, he noticed they were in some sort of cozy room.
There was a bed, a kitchen, and even a sofa on which the two siblings slept, leaning against each other.
Rael didnât laze around for too long as he grabbed the frame of the bed and stood up, taking a glance at his injuries.
Surprisingly, they were all gone.
As for his HP?
HP: 398 / 430
It was pretty much back to full.
Breathing is still a little difficult⊠that fucker definitely messed up my lung,
Rael thought, taking a glance at one pop-up in particular.
<Main Scenario â Part 4: The Subtle Shift>
<Time until world expansion is finished: 14 hours.>
Rael furrowed his brows as he glanced toward the sleeping siblings.
I was out for nearly a week?
