Chapter 736: Hopping Into A Dungeon
âMighty fine genius. Why donât we just remove the mountain instead, dipshit?â Astaroth said.
Victoria let out a sigh.
âItâs indeed troublesome. Removing the wall would just give us an uncomfortable breeze.â
As if they could feel something like that.
Oh wellâŚ
Since they didnât want to be helped, Rael would just let them fuss over it for who knows how long.
Just then, Nyx snapped her fingers, and to everyoneâs surprise, the wall began to move and rearrange. In just a few seconds, the wall was completely straight, and there were no jagged edges.
Puzzled, Rael moved quickly and phased through the wall, arriving at the other side and seeing the side of the mountain.
It surprisingly didnât look that altered.
If anything⌠it kind of looked like the mountain had a little bulge.
Nothing anyone would fuss over, probably.
So he went back inside the throne room and nodded at the couple.
âSeems itâs all fine now. Care to finish up?â
Astaroth rolled his eyes.
Then, he took the lead and began rearranging the thrones until, finally, they were perfectly separated from one another and also perfectly aligned.
Humming in satisfaction, Astaroth brushed the dust off his clothes and turned back to Rael.
âCheers for that. Anyhow, you said you did something to the cave city?â
Rael nodded and began relaying every change he made, which was obviously overheard by Victoria.
Safe to say, her smile was more than genuine.
âThank you, truly. It means a lot. I didnât expect such kindness from a race like ours, where everyone is for themselves, you know?â
âDonât mention it.â Rael brushed it off. âAlso, now that you two are accustomed and stuff, howâs the relationship coming along?â
Obviously, Rael was interested in whether they had married.
But since they shook their heads in unison, Rael knew that wasnât the case.
âItâs okay. Weâre working it out,â Astaroth said.
Victoria turned to Astaroth. âHe is slowly regaining his knowledge and strength.â
Thatâs nice. Iâm glad he actually might be happy for once, Rael thought with a smile, then turned to Nyx.
âWhat do you say we step out and take a look around the world? Iâm sure Astaroth will call us once the two have sorted out their stuff.â
Nyx tilted her head.
âDo you have that much time to spare?â
âWhen itâs for a friend, sure,â Rael replied. âI have plenty of people I trust guarding the people I care about, and if it ever comes down to it, I feel like they will contact me.â
Basically, he was in safe hands, and putting off becoming a Dragon God for a day was not going to be the end of the world.
Despite Astaroth appearing like a hardass, a faint smile appeared on his face as he nodded at Rael.
âI appreciate it. Iâll buy you dinner tomorrow then. Just make sure to not visit the Nature Dragons. If you do, Iâm going to tell all your wives, and Iâll watch as they skewer you alive.â
âNoted.â Rael whistled. âKeep that arrogance in check though, since Iâm more than open to sharing the shit you bragged about to your dear wife Victoria.â
Astaroth froze, then gestured at Rael to finally buzz off, and so, after saying his goodbyes to the two of them, Nyx and Rael finally flew out of the throne room and soared below the clouds.
Once they were far enough away, Rael and Nyx exchanged a glance.
âI have a feeling you let them be because you had something else in mind. Was it really exploring?â
Rael shrugged, then opened up the Premium Shop.
â˘âPremium Shopââ˘

HmmâŚ
Rael indeed had a plan.
It was simple.
He wanted to do a quick little dungeon, and he also wanted to do some damage checks, since according to some system prompts, Rael assumed his base damage would be in the Tier 40 Vitality range.
But he was also very curious how that damage would fare when it came to Mind damage, plus his multipliers on that damageâŚ
Could he reach Tier 50 Vitality damage?
HeheâŚ
Without hesitation, Rael went ahead and bought the Graveyard of the Gods dungeon, and in the next instant, a pitch black key appeared in front of him.
Nyx immediately took a step back, realizing what it was.
âThe hellâŚ? How did you get your hands on that?â Nyx asked, baffled. âThatâs one of the keys that lead directly to the graveyard where the shattering happened⌠Thereâs still remnants of the gods whoâve died there.â
Rael raised a brow.
âIs it really that interesting?â
Damn.
He kind of expected there to just be some fancy underworld graveyard for the gods.
But oh wellâŚ
âAre you coming along?â Rael asked, and before she could respond, he brought the key up to the open space and twisted it.
In an instant, a pitch black door emerged and slowly opened.
He couldnât see through to the other side, but he could feel an immeasurable amount of mana hitting him and slightly pushing him back.
YeahâŚ
This was definitely the right place.
But just who did he yoink this key off of?
Just that thought alone made Rael gulp and smile at Nyx.
She was still frozen as she glanced between him and the portal.
But eventually, she nodded.
âFine. Just⌠if you feel like you canât handle something, tell me and Iâll force our way out of there.â
âYou donât want any warm-up?â Rael mused.
She raised a brow.
âIâd rather sleep.â
Yeah, that made sense.
Anyhow, since the two were as ready as they could be, Rael did a quick stretch, and after giving Nyx a wave, he quickly stepped through the pitch black door, entering the Graveyard of the Gods.
