With the mood of the wedding settling, everyone started getting back into the swing of work.
Most of the representatives that had come for the wedding had already headed back to their own countries.
After all, they were some of the top people in their countries and these countries certainly werenât small.
If the worldâs leaders were missing for too long, then there was no doubt that chaos would follow.
So they had to return to their own countries before that happened.
But most of them made sure to promise that they would keep in contact just in case anything happened with the forces of Destruction. No one dared to let their guards down when it came to the forces of Destruction after all.
The only ones that remained were the royal mermaid couple and the couple from the Vale Tribe.
It seemed that they didnât want to part with their daughters that soon.
Though in the elderâs case, she headed back to the Elven Kingdom without hesitation as there were still things that had to be arranged in the Elven Kingdom.
As she left, she said, "Itâs not my first time sending my daughter off." Then in a more sincere voice, she said, "Though Iâm much more assured in the person that Iâm giving her to this time."
Once all of the different representatives left, there wasnât much left for me to do.
The four Relics of Destruction had been found and the forces of Destruction hadnât made a move yet, so there really wasnât anything for me to do.
As for running the country...
Well, with how much Iâve been absent from the Kite Kingdom, it would be strange that I would actually be involved in the governing of the Kite Kingdom. With how much Iâve been away, it would have fallen apart if I was the one that had been governing the Kite Kingdom.
So there wasnât anything that I actually had to do since there were people that took care of the Kite Kingdom for me. It was to the point where the king was nothing more than a figurehead.
This wasnât a bad thing since I wasnât someone that could govern a kingdom in the first place.
I had no idea what to do, it was better to leave it to the prime minister and the chancellor who took care of everything with competence. I had already seen how happy the people of the Kite Kingdom were after all.
Only it was boring sitting around doing nothing.
Everyone else seemed to have something to do, so I was just sitting alone.
That was until I heard a sound.
"Is someone there?" I slowly asked out loud.
There shouldnât be anyone here since this place was the private royal gardens in the palace. There were plenty of royal guards around that it should have been impossible for anyone to sneak into here.
The only ones that should be allowed here were the servants of the castle.
But from where the sound was coming from, it was unlikely that it was one of the servants.
After all, it came from a bush that was in the middle of the gardens.
There was no way that one of the servants would be hiding in the bushes like this.
The only reason I didnât call the royal guards right away was because I could tell that there was nothing dangerous about this intruder and that there was no actual ill intent coming from them.
"Rustle, rustle."
The sound came again before a figure suddenly stood up in the bushes.
I couldnât help narrowing my eyes as soon as I saw this figure.
Especially when I saw the things that were on its head.
It was something that I had seen before, but the ones that I had seen before werenât real. The ones that I had seen before were nothing more than imitations of the real thing that were currently in front of me.
This figure was an actual cat girl.
Or it was better to say that she was a cat demi human.
Of course there would be a race like this in this h-game, it was just that this race wasnât that easy to access since it was actually the first DLC that had been added into the game. The area that the demi humans were in were supposed to be locked behind a large questline.
It was all because the demi humans didnât actually live on the continent.
As per the lore of the game, the demi humans were a closed off society that lived on a large island that was off the coast of the continent. It was a large island that was big enough to support the demi humans, so they had never come to the continent for trade or anything since there was no need.
They were basically an isolated society that developed all on their own.
But it wasnât as if there werenât demi humans on the continent.
There were demi humans in the base game, it was just that they were all wanderers or mercenaries. The only actual demi human villages in the base game were the ones that were on the coast near the island that they lived on.
Only I could tell that this cat girl that had appeared wasnât a wanderer or a mercenary.
The clothes that she wore were completely different from what a wanderer or a mercenary would wear. The clothes that she wore seemed more like what a noble would wear.
So it was very likely that she was someone from that island.
"What is a demi human like you doing away from your island?" I asked in a calm voice after figuring out this cat girlâs identity.
She seemed surprised by what I said before suddenly giving a bow and saying, "Greetings to your majesty. I am Vanilla from the Mofu Mofu Kingdom. Iâm here to congratulate you on your wedding and to greet those from the racial alliance."
