Roman had nothing to do for the rest of the day. Unlike the girls, he didnāt train or prepare for his matches; he had no interest in training on his own, as Victoriaās method was much more effective.
During all their training, she always made him fight her shadows, which gave him battle experience on top of the training. He also felt real pain when he didnāt concentrate enough, or his fighting was sloppy, while all the girls were doing was practicing spells against dummies.
That was also good in a way, but not the way Roman wanted.
After Reena left, Roman followed behind, heading back to the palace. He had no idea what the girls did, but he was hungry and went straight to his room.
The maid in front of his room bowed her head as he arrived and Roman muttered in her ear, "Iām hungry, can you get me something to eat"
"Of course" The maid spoke and began walking away.
Roman walked in and immediately slumped on the bed. He wasnāt too tired, but he needed rest after that, and he was very hungry.
The door was pushed open, and Roman jumped up expecting his meal, but was surprised to see Victoria at the door.
"It seems you were expecting something else" She said with a smile on her face as she closed the door behind her.
"Iām just hungry, thatās all. What brings you here to the room of a male?" Roman said also with a smile, and Victoria shot him a look.
"I bring good and bad news, which would you like first?" She asked.
"The bad news" Roman answered without hesitation.
"The tournament would finish one day earlier, so tomorrow you have another match, your opponent has already been decided, and thereās a twist at the end, if you guess it, then Iāll give you something special," Victoria spoke as she sat down.
āA twist at the end, there are five of us left and there are two days remaining, tomorrow two matches would be held and Iām among them, meaning 1 student wouldnāt get to battleā
"Wait...if the tournament is ending the day after tomorrow, one student wouldnāt participate and go straight to the finals, but the person in the finals would already be exhausted after fighting earlier, I still have no idea what the twist is?" Roman replied.

"I already know my opponent, itās Reina... thatās the logic thing to do, having both of us face each other and even though I win, then Iāll face Ava and Aurelia in the final, if someone else faces Reina and she wins, then she would help me in the final, to prevent that from happening, sheāll be my opponent" Roman spoke.
"Smart as usual, prepare well, I really donāt see a way you can win against Aurelia and Ava with just your flame ability, since Ava has both flame and ice, and Aurelia has flame resistance," Victoria replied.
"What if I expose myself? That would be a nice surprise and no one would be able to question if I should attend the academy," Roman smirked.
"Thatās up to you, itās your tournament after all...oh, I forgot about the good news, after this tournament, Iāll be the teacher of the ten of you, that is if you do win, if you donāt, then Iāll be the teacher of the nine girls, do you best, I think Iāll be bored without you" Victoria spoke as she pushed the door open and walked out.
