"I’m still thinking about his spell, what if we can reverse it, instead of making the gravity stronger, you could make it weaker and be able to float or even fly," Victoria spoke

"Is that possible?" Roman asked.

"It’s possible, we’ll need to call in experts on rune magic to study it. All spells can be studied and modified, but since it isn’t a known spell, it might prove a little difficult," Evelyn spoke.

"Yes, but I’m sure we’ll be able to find a way," Victoria replied as she looked out of it.

"Don’t worry, she’s easily fascinated with new spells. Now, back to where we were, do you remember anything that happened before you had the visions, any clues as to what triggered them?"

"No, I don’t think so. The first two times I slept, and it felt like a dream, but the last time I lost consciousness and woke up inside the founder’s memories," Roman replied.

"There has to be a way to connect with him, as Sonia talked about."

"So Victoria, how do we go about training him? Right now, it seems like what he needs the most is an increase to his mana capacity, and combat training, learning more advanced spells would have to come later," Evelyn spoke.

"I agree, but there isn’t a safe way to increase a person’s mana capacity quickly; you have to train constantly for months to make an increase, and even with that, only years of training could bring him to our level."

"You said safe way, is there an unsafe way?" Roman asked, and Evelyn turned towards Victoria.

"Did you do that on purpose so he would ask?"

"Do what on purpose? I simply explained his situation, it’ll take years of training."

"But there’s another way, is it dangerous?" Roman asked.

"Very, it isn’t forbidden, but it has been outlawed in Avalon because of the risks; the damage it does to a mage is irreversible," Evelyn spoke.

"But?"

"You can shorten years of training into a single month or a few weeks, and I’m simply telling you the risk; there’s no way I’ll let you undergo the process, no matter what you say or do."

"Really, just now you said I could ask you for anything if my spell could get you to move, what if I ask that as my favor?"

"Then I’ll break my promise. There’s no way I’m putting your life in danger, and since you want to become a mage, if the process fails, it could damage your mana core forever, making you unable to conjure mana to cast spells. You’ll become a normal human."

"And since you’re S-rank and can’t attend the academy anymore, you’ll live the rest of your days in the palace," Victoria added.

Roman sighed and looked at the ceiling. Evelyn couldn’t believe he was still reconsidering it, even after the warnings; she didn’t want Roman to go through the problem, even though the risks were exaggerated.

Damaging his mana core was the worst possibility, but it had only happened once in Avalon and twice in the other two kingdoms, and it still had dangerous repercussions if it failed. The most common one was an obvious decrease in spell power, and it was also irreversible.

’Wait a minute, in front of me are two gold mines that I haven’t tried yet, the two strongest mages in Avalon, if one of them could increase my mana stats, isn’t that worth trying?’

’I don’t know how difficult it’ll be to convince Evelyn, but I can definitely convince Victoria to give up the goods. I just haven’t had the opportunity, but I do now.’

Evelyn was speechless; she had no idea he was going to go there. She thought Roman would want a spell, a special training, or maybe something else, but this didn’t cross her mind.

’Wait, he wanted me...I thought he didn’t want to have sex with females; isn’t that why he wants to attend the academy? I know I’m beautiful, but compared to young noble girls, any male would choose them if given a choice.’

’Do I interest him? Is it because I’m powerful? Wait...now that I think about it, Victoria trained him, meaning they had to be alone and in secret, Victoria has had sex with him, and she didn’t think to tell me.’

She was still thinking of his training and what darkness spells to teach Roman when she looked in front of her, and her jaw dropped as Evelyn was kissing Roman.

She blinked a few times to make sure she was seeing things correctly, but she was, and both of them were now on their feet with their lips joined together.

As Victoria stood up, Evelyn moved closer to Roman, and he took that as an invitation, pushing his lips onto hers. She immediately reciprocated his kiss with even more vigor and soon their tongue were dancing in a mouth orge.
