"Mhmm? What?" Nathan asked. He thought he heard Evelyn saying something.
Evelyn bit her lip before raising her head. "I said, âThis is not fair.â If you keep doing this for me, I..."
Nathan paused for a moment before smiling. "So, thatâs how it is. I guess you have gotten accustomed to the excessive things that people have done for you, especially from your admirers."
Evelyn turned her head down again.
"It looks like you are misunderstanding something." Nathan raised his finger playfully. "I didnât do this to capture your heart, you know that? I did it because you are already my family."

Evelynâs lips trembled. It looked like she wanted to say something, but she couldnât deny it either.
