Chapter 1104: The Tiamat Sect (II) Chapter 1104: The Tiamat Sect (II) Cain stared at Eldrick as he considered the last question, choosing not to waste time with unnecessary words.

“I’ve come to the Helix Continent in search of greater power.

I understand this place is full of danger and people who could kill me, but only by facing such challenges can I ignite my potential and evolve beyond my limitations.” A wide, satisfied smile spread across Eldrick’s face upon hearing Cain’s answer, and he burst into hearty laughter.

Nodding approvingly, the mighty dragon bellowed, “That’s the right way of thinking!

You truly have the heart of a dragon inside you!” After a moment, Eldrick composed himself and adopted a more serious, mature demeanor befitting an elder.

“In the heat of everything, I forgot to introduce myself properly.” He stood tall, his presence commanding as his aura flooded the earth and sky.

“I am Eldrick Alacuard, Ancient Dragon Elder of the Tiamat Sect.” Cain smiled, recognizing the weight behind Eldrick’s introduction.

He responded in kind, “Cain Laurifer.” After a brief pause, Eldrick’s smile widened, and his expression grew more solemn.

“Cain Laurifer, I extend an invitation.

Would you like to visit the Tiamat Sect?” Cain didn’t hesitate.

A smile crossed his face as he nodded.

This was the opportunity Cain had been waiting for.

He had never liked the Sun Church, and now, after killing two of their Legends, any potential connection with them was impossible.

The Moon Cult, with its matriarchal society, also didn’t align with his goals.

With his battle style now centered around Dragonform, the Tiamat Sect was his best-and perhaps only-choice.

There, he could learn to push the power of his dragon body and abilities to their limits, enhancing his combat strength to an even higher degree.

“Excellent!

The journey to the sect will take us several days, so we’d best travel comfortably.” Without warning, Eldrick began to shift from his fifty-meter-tall dragonborn form into a colossal, gargantuan dragon, towering at an awe-inspiring 60,000 meters in length!

Cain’s eyes widened in shock.

The sheer size of Eldrick’s dragon form dwarfed his own nine-thousand-meter-tall dragon body, making him seem like a child in comparison.  Yet size wasn’t everything that he could perceive.

Cain could feel the overwhelming physical force radiating from Eldrick’s body.

This oppressive, primal might seemed to emerge from the very core of his being, making the world around him tremble.

‘He’s only a Level 26 in the Level System, and his black hole shouldn’t be much more powerful than others like Amir, but his body is on another level entirely.

I can’t even begin to understand it,’ Cain did not attempt to hide the awe and shock he felt as he gazed at the massive obsidian dragon.

Yet, as the shock wore off, something else surged within Cain-desire.

A deep hunger for that same power.

The energy surging through Eldrick, allowing him to rise far beyond the limits of the Level System, was clearly the path of the Tiamat Sect.

Now that he had seen it firsthand, Cain craved it.

The sheer might of Eldrick’s form-the embodiment of the Dragon Path-was something Cain knew he needed to achieve for himself.

Eldrick glanced down at Cain, seemingly sensing the young warrior’s determination.

He chuckled softly, his deep voice rumbling through the air.

“Good.

You’ll need that drive where we’re going.

The Tiamat Sect will push you harder than anything you’ve experienced before, but if you can endure it… well, you’ve seen what it can lead to.” Cain’s eyes gleamed as he nodded, determination overwhelming his mind and soul.

He needed that power to thrive in the Helix Continent.

Only with overwhelming strength, capable of shaking the heavens, could he vanquish his enemies and achieve his ultimate goal.

The duo took to the sky, their massive wings cutting through the air with such force that the wind whipped into violent gales beneath them.

Their combined auras were immense, causing every creature in the sky to tremble in fear.

Even the most fearsome beasts, capable of challenging Stellar Abyss Legends, fled in terror, unwilling to cross paths with the two titanic figures now flying through the air.

Of course, it was Eldrick, not Cain, that they truly feared.

As they soared over the landscape, Cain’s eyes narrowed in concentration.

He had finally finished consuming Rodrick and Dimitri, absorbing their vitality, energy, soul force, and Legendary Innate Abilities.

The first three would aid him in healing his wounds more quickly, and he would decide later how best to use the last.

What truly mattered to Cain now, however, was the final aspect of their existence he had consumed-their memories.

These would allow him better to understand the current state of the Helix Continent.

What he especially sought was information about the Sun Church.

The Sun Church had become his enemy, and after killing two of their Legends, they would definitely seek revenge.

Understanding their organization, strength, and goals was critical if he was to prepare for what lay ahead.

‘The Path of Sacrifices.’ Cain’s eyes narrowed as he finally understood the core power behind the people of the Sun Church and how Marya, Rodrick, and Dimitri’s strength was able to rise so immensely.

The Path of Sacrifices was a complex and intriguing system of power that revolved around the concept of sacrifice to higher beings in exchange for strength or abilities.

In essence, a Sacrificer offers something valuable to a higher being in return for power or abilities.  The power or abilities granted are proportional to the value of the sacrifice made.

High-level sacrifices yield greater rewards.

Advancing in this path is not straightforward.

As a Sacrificer progresses, the requirements for sacrifices become more demanding, both in terms of the uniqueness of the item and the level of devotion to the higher being.

At higher ranks, the Sacrificer must offer something truly valuable and unique to attract the attention of the higher being.

Additionally, they must show deep adherence to the being’s doctrine, suggesting a form of indoctrination or deep devotion.

Cain was genuinely amazed by this Path of Power, and aside from the devotion aspect, it seemed quite effective.
