“You’re late,” Phoenix, wearing a mask and standing with a kingly demeanor in the courtyard of the sanatorium where Li Haiyang resided, looked at Luo Ziling, Yang Xiaodong, and Wang Zhenjun as they entered the courtyard after passing through the security gate. Her voice was icy as she said, “It’s 8:32 now. You’re two minutes late.”

“When you spotted us, it wasn’t yet 8:30, wasn’t it? It’s your troublesome security checks that wasted several minutes of our time,” Luo Ziling replied irritably before approaching Phoenix, “Even if we are late, it’s only by two minutes. What’s the big deal?”

“Two minutes is enough time for you to die several times over,” Phoenix said, shifting her gaze from Luo Ziling to Yang Xiaodong and Wang Zhenjun who were behind him, her eyes becoming even sharper.

To Luo Ziling’s surprise, Yang Xiaodong and Wang Zhenjun, usually nonchalant and always laughing, turned very serious upon entering the courtyard and seeing Phoenix, showing no sign of levity.

What surprised him even more was when, under Phoenix’s gaze, both men simultaneously stepped forward and stood at attention, giving her a salute.

It wasn’t just their combat proficiency that was formidable, but their overall capabilities were outstanding. Compared to them, “Snow Fox” still had quite a gap.

After all, “Snow Fox” only belonged to a certain combat zone.

The one advantage “Snow Fox” had was that their capability in high-altitude and cold regions was superior to that of Dragon Rise.

Phoenix did not reply, only nodding her head slightly to show she understood.

He went straight to the small building where Li Haiyang was staying. Since he had come to see Li Haiyang today, he might as well treat him to save him another trip.

Once it’s officially settled, I can be a bit more at ease and come over to treat you all with a proper title.”

“You just want an identity from Dragon Rise, right?” Li Haiyang pointed out bluntly.

Luo Ziling just grinned and did not deny it.

Li Haiyang didn’t say much more, just telling Luo Ziling to go and talk to Phoenix about it later.

Luo Ziling immediately felt a sense of relief.
