After treating Li Haiyang, Luo Ziling went to look for Phoenix. He had thought that Yang Xiaodong and Wang Zhenjun would be together with Phoenix, but unexpectedly, he saw these two guys in the courtyard, while Phoenix was not with them.

Luo Ziling caught something unusual from Yang Xiaodong’s use of the word “again.” It seemed that these two guys really had a conflict with people from Dragon Rise, only they hadn’t been beaten up.

Unable to get information about Phoenix’s whereabouts from Yang Xiaodong and Wang Zhenjun, Luo Ziling had to go look for her himself. When Luo Ziling found Phoenix, he saw her standing by the window of a room on the first floor of that building, expressionless and staring outside as if in a trance.

“If there’s anything else, just say it,” Phoenix said without turning around, still standing in her original posture.

The last thing he liked to see was a beauty showing him a cold face; it was unpleasant and hurt his pride.

Phoenix was caught off guard that Luo Ziling would bring up such topics, and eventually, she lightly uttered three words, “Got used to it.”

“Also, tell me where Lin Lan is now, when she’s going to return, and why she had to leave.”
