Luo Ziling was the first to step out of the bathroom.

As he emerged, Wang Qing and the restaurant’s delivery staff were setting the food on the dining table.

Seeing Luo Ziling come out of the bathroom, Wang Qing gave him a curious glance but didn’t ask him anything.

Ouyang Feifei wasn’t downstairs, which didn’t surprise Wang Qing.

After setting the table, Wang Qing left with the delivery person.

By this time, Luo Ziling had regained his composure. He called out to Wang Qing with a smile and asked softly, “How are things going with you and Yang Xiaodong?”

He had mentioned this to Ouyang Feifei before, but he didn’t know if Ouyang Feifei had told Wang Qing, nor did he know Wang Qing’s attitude.

Today, he didn’t want Wang Qing to find out about any embarrassing incidents, so he feigned calmness when he asked her.

Wang Qing didn’t expect Luo Ziling to bring this up and suddenly blushed.

He planned to pass this information on to Yang Xiaodong, encouraging him to seize the moment and make an effort to win her over.

After chuckling a bit, Luo Ziling walked to the bathroom door, knocked lightly, and said softly, “You can come out now; they’re gone!”

After saying that, he went to the table to get ready for dinner.

Just as Luo Ziling was about to dig in, the bathroom door opened, and Ouyang Feifei peeked her head out.

Seeing Luo Ziling sitting alone at the table, Ouyang Feifei finally stepped out with relief.

After Luo Ziling exited, she had hidden in the bathroom to touch up her makeup.

When she reappeared in front of Luo Ziling, Ouyang Feifei once again looked like a dignified and noble queen.

She rolled her eyes at Luo Ziling and then sat opposite him.

He felt there was no need to hold back in front of Ouyang Feifei.

“Are you satisfied with the dishes?” Seeing Luo Ziling eating heartily, Ouyang Feifei asked softly.

“Not bad, they’re all my favorites!” Luo Ziling replied with a smile at Ouyang Feifei.

“If you like them, eat more. I can’t eat much anyway.” With that, Ouyang Feifei served herself a small bowl of rice and began eating slowly.

“Did you call me over just to check if things were harmonious among my family?” Luo Ziling asked Ouyang Feifei as he ate. “Is this your so-called urgent matter?”

“Let’s talk after eating!” Ouyang Feifei didn’t like discussing things during meals.

She had been taught since childhood not to speak during meals, so she didn’t want to discuss matters with Luo Ziling while eating.

So, Luo Ziling had to drop the subject and focus on eating.

Ouyang Feifei had a small appetite, and most of the food ended up in Luo Ziling’s stomach.

In the spirit of not wasting food, Luo Ziling ate everything left after Ouyang Feifei put down her chopsticks.

Seeing Luo Ziling devouring the food like a ravenous wolf, Ouyang Feifei was wide-eyed in surprise.

“You really can eat, like a starving ghost reincarnated.” She couldn’t help but tease.

“Do you not know that every grain of rice represents hard work?” Luo Ziling said sternly, then shook his head. “Talking about this with you, a rich girl, is pointless.”

“As if you understand!” Ouyang Feifei scoffed. “You’re not exactly lacking wealth yourself, don’t classify yourself as the underprivileged.”

“I’m done eating. Can we talk about the matter now?” Luo Ziling set down his chopsticks. “Let’s not discuss this meaningless topic; let’s get to business!”

“Let’s go to the study upstairs; I’ll have Wang Qing come in and clean up!” Ouyang Feifei said, standing up and heading upstairs.

Luo Ziling frowned for a moment but eventually followed her up.

Once upstairs, Ouyang Feifei asked what kind of tea Luo Ziling wanted. He said anything was fine, so she made him a cup of green tea.

“You’ve got the skills of a perfect wife,” Luo Ziling couldn’t help but tease as he watched her make tea.

Ouyang Feifei replied solemnly, “Whatever I choose to do, I can excel at, including being a wife.”

“If I could test it, I’d really like to see you try!” Luo Ziling joked to prevent Ouyang Feifei from sidetracking. Then he directly addressed the matter, “Come on, tell me the serious thing you wanted to discuss. I need to return to pay my respects to my Mother Chief later.”

Ouyang Feifei rolled her eyes at Luo Ziling but eventually obliged by discussing the matter.

She confirmed that after Luo Xusheng’s return, life wasn’t very harmonious and seriously advised Luo Ziling, “I think it’d be best not to involve your dad in matters between you and your mom. If he gets involved, it will get even more complicated. He’s never dealt with these things and has always been in the military, so the issues between you and your mom should be your responsibility.”

Without waiting for Luo Ziling’s response, she added, “I know you plan to expand the equity of Lingyun Film and Television and Northern Pharmaceuticals. I want to know, would you be willing to let me increase my investment?”

“Is this the main thing you wanted to ask today?”

“It’s one thing!”

“Anything else?”

“Answer this question first!” Ouyang Feifei insisted stubbornly.

“What if I say no, what will you do?” Luo Ziling looked at Ouyang Feifei playfully.

“Why?”
