Doctor David analyzed rationally. Edie fell in a trance.
If the man gave up and chose one woman and the baby she perceived...
These words shocked her heart.
Seeing the expression on Edieās face, the doctor smiled and padded on her shoulder, "life is short. We donāt have much time to think about it. If you meet a man loving you deeply and you also loved him, you should go to him. It is a blessing from god. It is luck. Many people could find it, do you know that?"

"What?" the doctor asked.
"Live at the moment," she smiled. Though she still wanted to complain, she had a different feeling now.

"I know. I need to find him now," Edie rushed upstairs. She looked happier now.
When she pushed open the door, Stuart was closing his eyes. Edie thought he already fell into sleep.
She slowed down and walked to Stuart. Then she held his hands and sighed, "I really didnāt know what I should say now. You are not the one perceiving the baby. It is quite simple for you. But I am in a different situation. I can feel it. I want it to survive. You couldnāt just kill it."
"So, I want to make an amendment for you and baby, with my life," Stuart opened his eyes slowly.
"You didnāt sleep?" Edie was a little surprised.
"I am waiting for you," he covered her belly with his big hands, "let me take care of you and our daughter from now on."
"Why are you sure it is a girl? What if it is a boy?" Edie looked unpleasant.
"I donāt like boy, I like girls," Stuart answered directly.
Edie covered his mouth immediately, "you couldnāt say this. What if it is a boy? He would know you donāt like him. He would be upset."
"But...it is true. I really donāt like boys. I always want to beat Cecil. I couldnāt imagine being the father of a boy."

Aaron saw everything happening inside the room.

She opened the door. Seeing Aaron standing at the door, she smiled gently, "Let me buy you some fruit."
Edie rarely smiled these days. Even when she smiled, she looked upset. But now she looked so happy. Aaron knew it was because of Stuart.
Even though.... he hurt her so deeply, she still loved him deeply.
That made Aaron so angry and embarrassed.
Aaron sighed hopelessly. After calming down, he walked into the room directly.
"I know you wouldnāt die."
"Me, too," Stuart still fixed his eyes on the door. Even he couldnāt see Edie, and he still didnāt want to look away.
He might die if Edie was not here.
