The gremlin twitched, yet it still listened to Rael as it suddenly leaped up, then burrowed underground like a mole.

He commanded it to steal a few items, though he knew that according to the skill, the gremlin could only steal a single Common-ranked item.

But Yun didn’t need to know that.

In fact, Yun seemed unfazed as the ground rumbled, clearly indicating that the gremlin was getting closer.

And once it seemed like the gremlin was right beneath Yun, he suddenly slammed his foot down, causing the gremlin to pop out of the ground.

The gremlin panicked, yet it couldn’t do anything but watch as Yun’s staff approached it, hitting it head-on.

But in the end, it seemed like that was the gremlin’s plan all along, since the moment the staff made contact with the gremlin, it flew out of Yun’s hands.

Coincidentally, it slid across the ground until eventually, it was right in front of Rael.

He leaned down in curiosity and picked it up.

And to no one’s surprise…

With that, the gremlin sent Yun and Rael one final grin before vanishing into nothingness.

But what Rael definitely didn’t expect was for Yun to reach into his other back pocket and pull out yet another staff, identical to the one Rael currently held.

Rael composed himself, trying not to burst out laughing as he tossed the staff toward the two siblings.

Since Minos had no arm, Jane was the one who caught it, holding it in a defensive stance.

And just like that, without even uttering a word, Yun ran up to Rael, swinging his staff down.

Rael ducked under the attack at the last moment as he sent a kick to Yun’s side and ran past him, picking up the sword.

But that seemed like enough distance for Yun to put aside the defense as a sharp barrier appeared, heading straight for Rael’s leg.

It pierced his thigh, but before it could wrap around and go for Rael’s neck, an icicle flew straight at Yun, interrupting his casting as he had to switch to defense.

This fight seemed like it would drag on for a while at this pace, and injuries would just keep accumulating.

So with that in mind, Rael limped back to the two siblings and approached Jane.

She seemed puzzled and on edge, but even so, he leaned into her ear and whispered.

That’s where my holding him comes into play. If his barrier disappears, I’m going to snap his neck.

She seemed hesitant, but since he knew there weren’t that many options aside from retreating or fighting this roleplaying clown, Rael chose to fight instead.

He ripped a piece of his clothing and stuffed it into the wound on his thigh, stopping the bleeding.

The pain was still there, but at least his regeneration would start quicker.

When it did, it would push out the cloth… hopefully.

Even so, Rael’s gaze sharpened as he ran toward the confident Yun, thrusting his sword at the barrier.

It did nothing, unsurprisingly.

But that was enough for Yun to get the opportunity to swing his staff in an arc, trying to crush Rael’s head.

Rael took a step forward, closing the distance, surprising Yun.

And then, he sent a kick toward Yun’s leg, not dealing damage, but it made him falter slightly.

With that opportunity, Rael used every bit of strength he could muster to kick off the ground and arrive behind Yun.

Before Yun could turn around, Rael wrapped his arms around Yun’s neck, trying to choke him.

But all that did was make Yun let out a laugh.

“Pfft… suffocation? Really?” Yun mused. “It’s not a bad idea, however…”

Yun brought his finger straight into the wound on Rael’s thigh, causing immense pain.

Rael held back from screaming his lungs out as he shot a glance in Jane’s direction.

She flinched under his gaze, but remembering the plan, she suddenly shot a bolt of ice straight at Yun.

It didn’t deal damage. Instead, it spread out, covering Yun’s entire barrier, and naturally, a bit of Rael’s body as well.

But if he let go here, then their only chance would be lost.

Yun finally began to show signs of struggle as his lips turned purple, and so did Rael’s.

He couldn’t even see the damage numbers ticking by the side, he was too dazed to do so.

Soon, the entire front of Yun’s barrier froze into a jagged sheet of ice.

“F-Fucking maniacs…” Yun stammered, letting out a groan as he parted the barrier slightly around his abdomen, trying to disperse the cold as quickly as possible.

But all that did was give Rael an opportunity to pick up his sword and thrust it straight into Yun’s abdomen.

“AAAH! You fuc—”

Rael twisted the sword and stabbed it upward, straight into Yun’s heart.

-189! Fatal Hit!

A moment of silence ensued as a rough breath escaped Yun’s mouth.

He turned around, his eyes widening in disbelief as he raised his fist, trying to punch Rael.

But before the slow fist could land, the barrier vanished and Yun dropped face-first to the ground.

He opened his mouth as if he was trying to say something.

He opened his mouth, but no words came out.

Yun soon stopped his resistance, blood pooling below him as his body grew cold.

Just like that, Yun died.

And more surprisingly…
